Chester Washington's fairways are narrow, requiring accurate shots in order to score well. Many of your shots will be toward elevated greens. The signature hole is #13, a 200-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green surrounded by eucalyptus trees.
Diamond Bar Golf Course, a full length 18-hole championship course, features a long layout with wide fairways and large fast greens. The poa annua greens remain in excellent shape. Diamond Bar is well designed to fit the slightly sloping landscape, which is tree lined for added difficulty.
A challenging par 54, 2083 yard, 18 hole practice facility. There is a large double-decker range is certainly the nicest in LA. It has a great automatic ball dispenser system where the golf ball comes right out of the ground and onto the adjustable tee. Another of the Long Beach public golf courses, this one is the shortest of the three. Rec Park is fairly open and easy, but they do keep it is good shape and you can play it for less than 20 bucks. This is one of the busiest courses around, so expect a wait if you don't have a tee time. Oh yea, tee times are only available to Long Beach Residents with a reservation card until 3 days prior to the day you want to play

Royal Vista Golf Club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses are nestled in the quiet Walnut Valley with a spectacular view of the mountains on a clear day. All three courses play basically the same. The tree-lined fairways are rolling and range from open to tight. The elevated greens are medium in size and speed, and some are surrounded by deep bunkers. Additionally, some holes feature water in play or tricky dogleg configurations.
The 9-hole "Saticoy Regional" course at the Saticoy Regional Golf Course facility in Ventura, California features 2,723 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 34.
This narrow executive course has undulating fairways which will cause many uneven lies. The back nine is more hilly than the front nine. The greens are average-sized. The most difficult hole is #13, a 289-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a sharp dogleg-left fairway, then an approach shot to a green with cliffs protecting its right side. Simi Hills is considered one of American Golf's best public courses in our general area. Best of all, unlike many of its AGC brethren, Simi Hills will treat you well and help out whenever possible. The people at Simi Hills are always willing to accept our 2 for 1 and free range certificates, and they love helping out the Club by giving us advance tee times without a surcharge. If you don't mind the 50 minute ride into Simi Valley, this course is the place to be.
Directly across Lakewood Blvd., from the Long Beach Airport, this course provides an interesting blend of playing characteristics. Several water hazards and numerous bunkers await your errant shots, while excellent fairways and greens rewards your good play. This 18-hole course is a very enjoyable experience for all skill levels. Skylinks also offers a night lighted driving range, practice greens, a full service restaurant, bar and banquet facilities that can hold up to 150 people.
Located near Six Flags Magic Mountain, this mid-length course illustrates a beautiful park setting with an island green and lakes. There are plenty of weeping willows and oak trees lining the fairways, and the greens are extremely undulating and fast.
This 15 hole night-lit golf course is a favorite place to go for some golfing fun. If taken at face value, Westchester is a great place to go. The course is made up of par 3's and par 4's ranging from 110 yds to 350 yds. The greens are in good shape. This is the perfect place to go for fun, especially at night where the fairway and green lights will let you play until they close down between 9:30 and 10:00 pm. For a unique and fun time, check this place out.
This facility offers a regulation eighteen hole course and nine hole course. The Eighteen Hole Course has open, tree-lined fairways.
